nicht anna, for baritone voice, bass clarinet, accordion, and contrabass, is based on a text by Kurt Schwitters. The text is subjected to a kind of 'reading-through' technique (cf. Roaratorio), but designed in such a way that a pronounceable pseudo-German emerges. This work was premiered by the Ensemble Ictus, conducted by Georges-Elie Octors. The baritone soloist was Omari Tau Williams.
